Mathematics Minor

Also Offered at SDSU Imperial Valley

Courses in the minor may not be counted toward the major, but may be used to satisfy preparation for the major and general education requirements, if applicable. A minimum of six upper division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.

Required Courses

The minor in mathematics consists of a minimum of 20-21 units in mathematics to include 12 upper division units, at least six of which have as prerequisite

Nine Upper Division Units in Mathematics

Nine upper division units in mathematics, at least six of which have as prerequisite MATH 151 . The courses selected will be subject to the approval of the minor adviser.
