Prerequisite(s): Completion of all lower division preparation for the major courses with a grade of C (2.0) or better. CFD 353A , CFD 353B , CFD 353C , CFD 375A , CFD 375B , CFD 375C , and two units selected from CFD 378A , CFD 378B , or CFD 378D . Proof of completion of prerequisite(s) required: Copy of transcript.

Psychosocial needs of hospitalized child. Best practices for working with children and their families, and application of patient care vs. family centered care. Stress reduction, coping theories, and role of certified child life specialist.
