    Units: 3 GE

    Offered at: SDSU Main Campus and SDSU Imperial Valley

    Folk, ancient, and modern art music of world cultures, including traditional music of Africa, Asia, Latin America, the United States and Europe, as they relate to contemporary culture. Concert attendance required.

    Note: Not open to music majors except those completing Global Composition, Music Education, or Professional Studies Track 2-General. This course satisfies the general education cultural diversity requirement.

  
  • MUSIC 346 - Practicum in Music Education III

    One lecture and two hours of activity.

    Practical teaching applications. Students will develop and teach model lessons evaluated by students, faculty, and master teachers. Students choose a primary area of specialization and a master teacher in preparation for the final semester of the practicum series.

Increasing awareness of sensations and perceptions cultivated through additional practices of somatic systems to include Bartenieff Fundamentals, Body-Mind Centering, and Feldenkrais Method.
