Courses in the minor may not be counted toward the major, but may be used to satisfy preparation for the major and generaleducation requirements, if applicable. A minimum of six upper division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.

Required Courses
The minor in computer science consists of a minimum of 23 units to include:
15 Units
At least 15 units of computer science courses and 12 units must be upper division. The courses selected are subject to the approval of the minor adviser. A list of approved electives is listed at http://www.cs.sdsu.edu/cs-minor-requirements.
