All candidates for a degree in applied arts and sciences must complete the graduation requirements listed in the section of this catalog on Graduation Requirements .
A minor is not required with this major.

Emphasis in Sculpture
To complete the major, students must fulfill the degree requirements for the major described in the catalog in effect at the time they are accepted into the premajor at SDSU (assuming continuous enrollment).
Impacted Program
The sculpture emphasis is designated as an impacted program and specific criteria, which include a portion of the Preparation for the Major, are used to admit students. To be admitted to the sculpture emphasis, students must meet the following criteria:

Complete with a grade of C (2.0) or better:

Have a cumulative GPA of 2.20 or better;
C
Students not meeting the minimum GPA may petition for special consideration.
