Artificial Intelligence and Human Responsibility, B.S. (2025-2026) - Roadmap

The B.S. in Artificial Intelligence and Human Responsibility will equip students with the knowledge and skills to understand, oversee, and evaluate artificial intelligence (AI) technologies ethically and sustainably. By integrating technical literacy with insights from the social sciences and humanities, this degree will prepare SDSU students to navigate the deeply complex landscape of AI use, creating graduates who can think expansively about not only how such technologies work but also when, whether, and why they should be employed, and how to realize their significant benefits while mitigating their dangerous potential for harm.
