The Graduate Council of San Diego State University consists of 30 members: Voting members include fifteen tenured and probationary faculty, two from each of the seven academic colleges and one from the SDSU Imperial Valley; Dean of the College of Graduate Studies or designee, who shall chair the committee; Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the University Library (or designee), and two classified graduate students in good standing.
