Islamic and Arabic Studies, B.A. (2025-2026) - Roadmap

The roadmap outlines a recommended sequence of courses to follow in order to complete your degree in a timely manner. It is designed to take into account General Education courses and major preparation courses that will satisfy multiple requirements with one course. The roadmap suggests sequencing to ensure that you complete prerequisite courses prior to taking the higher-level course.

  • Physical Science [5A] or Biological Science [5B] Units: 3

    •      º Select the area of Science not completed in the Fall

  • Laboratory [5C] Units: 1

    •      º Must be in the same subject area as the Physical or Biological Science course taken.

  • Elective Units: 6

  •      º Major Prep or Elective
         º ARAB 202 required for Arabic Studies specialization and those who wish to take upper division Arabic courses.
