Impacted Program

The painting and printmaking emphasis is designated as an impacted program and specific criteria, which include a portion of the Preparation for the Major, are used to admit students. To be admitted to the painting and printmaking emphasis, students must meet the following criteria:

Preparation for the Major

• ART 100 - Drawing I Units: 3 must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better and cannot be taken for credit/no credit (Cr /NC
• ART 101 - Two Dimensional Design Units: 3 must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better and cannot be taken for credit/no credit (Cr /NC
• ART 102 - Drawing II Units: 3 must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better and cannot be taken for credit/no credit (Cr /NC

Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement
