Courses in the minor may not be counted toward the major, but may be used to satisfy preparation for the major and general education requirements, if applicable. A minimum of six upper division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.

Required Courses
The minor in mathematics requires 20-21 units in mathematics to include MATH 150 , MATH 151 , and a minimum of 12 units selected from MATH 237 ,MATH 245 ,MATH 252 , MATH 254 , or any upper division mathematics courses. No more than 6 units from Mathematics 237, 245, 252, or 254.

The courses selected will be subject to the approval of the minor adviser.
