Prerequisite(s): SPAN 401 and SPAN 402.

A specific literary genre: overview of the genre’s development in Spanish American literature (the Spanish American novel, short story, theatre) or focus on a narrower period (vanguardista poetry, the “Boom”). May be repeated with new title and content. Maximum Credits: six units.
