Rudimentary music theory involving the elements of music: melody, rhythm, and harmony. Developing the understanding of these elements through instrumental and vocal experiences which include the use of unison and part-singing, the keyboard, and simple melodic and harmonic instruments. For liberal studies and preservice teachers.

Note: Not open to students with credit in MUSIC 105 or 105B.
