Prerequisite(s): LATAM 111

Further development of speaking and writing skills, both extended to discourse level and with emphasis on language of everyday life. Integrated approach to learning Mixtec to include awareness and appreciation of the Mixtec culture. Course uses language acquisition skills to help students understand cultural differences and develop a global perspective.

Note: Taught in Mixtec. Native speakers of Mixtec or Zapotec will not receive credit for taking lower division courses in Mixtec or Zapotec except with advance approval from Latin American Studies.
