FRENC 221 - Speaking and Writing French Units: 4 General Education: Humanities [3B]
Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC
Prerequisite(s): FRENC 210 with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
Prose models, tone, and register; speaking practices, written composition and oral expression. Course uses language acquisition skills to help students understand cultural differences and develop a global perspective.
Maximum Credits: 4 Note: Taught in French. Native speakers of French will not receive credit for taking lower division courses except with advance approval from the department. No credit will be given for lower division courses taken after successfully completing any upper division French course taught in French. No credit will be given for FRENC 100A , FRENC 100B , FRENC 210 , 221 taken out of sequence.
