Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC

Prerequisite(s): Twelve units in economics to include ECON 101 and ECON 102. Completion of lower division GE Area 1. Junior or senior standing.

Economic way of thinking through writing. Effective communication of economic concepts and analysis to different audiences.

Note:

Satisfies the Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement (GWAR) for students who get a minimum grade of C or Cr. Upper-division courses should only be taken by students who have completed 60 semester units or more. In exceptional cases, a student who has completed fewer than 60 units may enroll in upper division courses.
