COMM 300 - Conceptualizing Communication

Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC

Prerequisite(s): Complete 6 units with a C (2.0) or better in: COMM 160, COMM 201, COMM 204, COMM 245; completion of GE Area 1C with a C (2.0) or better; at least sophomore standing; & cum. GPA of 2.75 or better. Open to Communication majors, minors & IS3D.

Communication theory, concepts, principles, and practices. Communication as art and process on micro and macro levels, integrates understanding of sources, messages, transmission, and feedback in creating meaning and culture.
