Prerequisite(s): DANCE 380. Satisfies Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement for students who have completed 60 units.

Examination of contemporary dance through the related perspectives of criticism and aesthetics. This writing-intensive course enhances critical thinking and analytical skills, and develops a vocabulary with which to examine, address, and articulate a fundamentally non-verbal art form.

Note: Not open to students with credit in DANCE 481.
