SPAN 211 - Intermediate Conversation and Reading Units: 3 GE - CSU C2 - Foundations of Learning - Arts and Humanities - Humanities: History, Languages other than English, Literature, Philosophy, Religious Studies
Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC
Prerequisite(s): SPAN 102
Emphasis on oral communication and reading comprehension through intermediate level cultural materials. Some writing will be adjunct to reading.
Maximum Credits: 3 Note: May be taken concurrently with SPAN 201 . Not open to students after taking SPAN 281 . Taught in Spanish. Native speakers of Spanish will not receive credit for taking lower division courses in Spanish except with advance approval from the department. No credit will be given for lower division Spanish language courses taken after successfully completing any upper division Spanish course.
