PORT 204 - Intermediate Portuguese II Units: 3 GE - CSU C2 - Foundations of Learning - Arts and Humanities - Humanities: History, Languages other than English, Literature, Philosophy, Religious Studies
Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC
Prerequisite(s): PORT 203 or completion of the fourth year of high school Portuguese.
Continuation of second-year Portuguese. Practices of grammar, listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Adoption of a communicative approach to develop intermediate-high level skills in Portuguese.
Formerly numbered Portuguese 401. Maximum Credits: 3 Note: Not open to students with credit in PORT 311 or a higher-numbered Portuguese course. Taught in Portuguese. Native speakers of Portuguese will not receive credit for taking lower division courses in Portuguese except with advance approval from the department. No credit will be given for lower division courses taken after successfully completing any upper division Portuguese course taught in Portuguese. No credit will be given for PORT 101 , PORT 102 , PORT 110 , PORT 203 , PORT 204 taken out of sequence.
