PERS 201 - Intermediate Persian I Units: 4 GE - CSU C2 - Foundations of Learning - Arts and Humanities - Humanities: History, Languages other than English, Literature, Philosophy, Religious Studies
Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC
Prerequisite(s): PERS 102
Further development of speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills, with emphasis on language of everyday conversation. Integrated approach to learning Persian to include awareness and appreciation of Persian culture.
Maximum Credits: 4 Note: Not open to students with credit in PERS 202 , PERS 301 , or a higher-numbered Persian course. Taught in Persian. Native speakers of Persian will not receive credit for taking lower division courses in Persian except with advance approval from the department. No credit will be given for PERS 101 , PERS 102 , PERS 201, and PERS 202 taken out of sequence.
