Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC

Prerequisite(s): MATH 150, MATH 151, CHEM 202 or CHEM 200, PHYS 195, PHYS 196, M E 200 or A E 200 all with a minimum grade of C (2.0) or better, MATH 252, and have an overall cumulative GPA of 2.7.

Basic concepts and principles of thermodynamics with emphasis on simple compressible substances. First and second law analysis, entropy, exergy analysis and state relations.
