Prerequisite(s): A grade of C (2.0) or better in ECL 100 [or POL S 100 or RWS 100], or AFRAS 120 or AMIND 120 or CCS 111B or LING 100B or RWS 105B. Proof of completion of prerequisite(s) required: Copy of transcript.

Introduction to aesthetics, criticism, history, and theory of literature. Focus on literature as an artistic, creative, and technical medium.
