Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC

Prerequisite(s): Complete 6 units with a grade of C (2.0) or better from: COMM 160, COMM 201, COMM 204, COMM 245; a C (2.0) or better in one of the following courses: COMM 103, AFRAS 140, CCS 111A, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Standing, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better.

Communication theory, concepts, principles, and practices. Communication as art and process on micro and macro levels, integrates understanding of sources, messages, transmission, and feedback in creating meaning and culture.
