Prerequisite(s): Advancement to candidacy for the Master of Arts degree in English and comparative literature or admission to the Master of Fine Arts program and consent of the graduate adviser and supervising professor.

Work experience with a practicing professional or company in the community, such as working as editorial assistant or teacher intern.

Maximum Credit Statement: nine units applicable to an M.F.A. degree with approval of graduate adviser.
