Prerequisite(s): Consent of the graduate adviser and instructor.

Intensive study of one of the following topics: Nonlinear vibrations, random vibrations, continuum mechanics, anisotropic elasticity, energy methods, plasticity, and other areas of engineering mechanics.

Formerly numbered Engineering Mechanics 600. May be repeated with new content.
Maximum Credits: 6
Maximum Credit Statement: six units applicable to a master’s degree.
