Prerequisite(s): MATH 245 and either MATH 254 or MATH 342A with a grade of C (2.0) or better in each course. Proof of completion of prerequisite(s) required: Copy of transcript.

Vector spaces, linear transformations, orthogonality, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, normal forms for complex matrices, positive definite matrices and congruence.
