These prerequisite courses may not be taken Cr/NC; the minimum grade in each class is C. Additional progress requirements must be met before a student is admitted to an upper division major.

Complete with a grade of C (2.0) or better:

• ACCTG 201 - Financial Accounting Fundamentals Units: 3
• ACCTG 202 - Managerial Accounting Fundamentals Units: 3
• ECON 101 - Principles of Economics Units: 3
• ECON 102 - Principles of Economics Units: 3
• FIN 240 - Legal Environment of Business Units: 3 (or an approved business law course)
• MIS 180 - Principles of Information Systems Units: 3
• MATH 120 - Calculus for Business Analysis Units: 3 (or an approved calculus course or an approved three-unit finite mathematics course)

Graduation Writing Assessment Requirement

Passing the Writing Placement Assessment with a score of 10 or completing one of the approved upper division writing courses (W) with a grade of C (2.0) or better. See “Graduation Requirements ” section for a complete listing of requirements.

Forty-four upper division units consisting of

• ACCTG 331 - Intermediate Accounting I Units: 3 with a grade of C (2.0) or better
• ACCTG 332 - Taxation of Business Entities Units: 3 with a grade of C (2.0) or better
• ACCTG 333 - Accounting Information Systems Units: 3 with a grade of C (2.0) or better
• ACCTG 334 - Intermediate Accounting II Units: 3 with a grade of C (2.0) or better
• ACCTG 431 - Auditing Units: 3
• ACCTG 432 - Cost Management Units: 3
