The Cybersecurity Management Certificate provides in-depth, hands-on knowledge in security tools, methods, and processes. This program is designed to develop the skills necessary to enter or continue a career as a security analyst, technician, and/or manager. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
Students must complete the coursework with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or better. Required courses may be substituted with pemission of the director of graduate business programs; however, the student must complete a minimum of 12 units. Course substitutions are determined by evaluating prior course content, the institution at which courses were taken, grades received, and time since courses were taken. Courses in the certificate program may be applied to the Master of Science Degree in Cybersecurity Management (MSCM), the Master of Science Degree in Information Systems (MSIS), and the Masters of Science Degree in Business Administration (MBA). Students may enroll in the certificate program and a master’s degree program in the Fowler College of Business concurrently.
