General Information

The Interdisciplinary Studies in Three Departments (IS3D) program provides students with an academically rigorous, meaningful, and forward-looking degree. IS3D students learn problem-solving skills to help them thrive in a rapidly evolving academic and career environment. Our students develop a knowledge-base in three disciplines and learn how to apply integrative interdisciplinary analysis to real-world problems. We strive to provide the necessary support to students so they can be agents of change in their personal and professional lives. Our program consists of coursework in three disciplines and an integrative sequence of three courses designed to promote hands-on learning and interdisciplinary thinking .
