GEOG 342 - Food, Place, and Culture

Units: 3 GE

Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC

Prerequisite(s): GEOG 101  or GEOG 102 .

Significance of food in the human experience, its role in sustaining cultures, making places, organizing societies, and supporting economies and livelihoods. Relationships between food and culture at the global, local, and body scales.

Maximum Credits: 3
Note: Not open to students with credit in GEOG 340 .
