Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Master of Science in Athletic Training degree program.

Foundational pharmacologic principles/topics, including drug actions and interactions, effects of various drug categories, and pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics. Examination of cellular aspects of the disease, pathophysiological signs/symptoms, and dynamics of body defenses related to health problems across the lifespan of physically active. May be repeated with consent of instructor. Maximum Credits: six units.
