MATH 124 - Calculus for the Life Sciences Units: 4 GE
Three lectures and three hours of laboratory.
Prerequisite(s): Knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry as demonstrated by either (1) satisfactory completion of MATH 141 with a grade of C (2.0) or above; or (2) qualification on the Mathematics Placement Assessment. Proof of completion of prerequisite(s) required.
Basic concepts of calculus with life science applications. Topics from differential and integral calculus and an introduction to elementary differential equations. Computer applications to biological problems.
Note: Not open to students with credit in MATH 150 .
