PSY 370 - Psychological Testing and Measurement

Units: 3

Also offered at SDSU-IV.

Prerequisite(s): PSY 280  or equivalent statistics course with a grade of B (3.0) or better; PSY 301  with a grade of B (3.0) or better. Proof of completion of prerequisite(s) required: Copy of transcript.

Measurement theory and the basic principles of testing. Selection, construction and critical evaluation of group tests of intelligence, personality, aptitude, interest and achievement.

Note: Students electing to take PSY 410  for the methods requirement may petition waiver of the PSY 301  prerequisite by permission of the undergraduate adviser. Open only to psychology majors.
