JAPAN 422 - Newspaper Reading and Advanced Composition

Prerequisite(s): JAPAN 411 .
Development of reading and writing skills through texts taken from current Japanese newspapers and broadcast news.
Note: Taught in Japanese. No credit will be given for JAPAN 311 , JAPAN 312 , JAPAN 411 , JAPAN 412 taken out of sequence. No credit will be given for lower division courses taken after successfully completing any upper division Japanese course taught in Japanese. Native speakers of Japanese or students whose placement test results demonstrate educated native or near-native fluency will not receive credit for JAPAN 311 , JAPAN 312 , JAPAN 321 , JAPAN 322 , JAPAN 411 , JAPAN 412 , JAPAN 421 , 422, and JAPAN 480 .
