PSY 281 - Data Analysis in Psychology

Units: 2
Grading Method: LCR: Letter Grade with Cr/NC available. The grading default for the class will be letter grade, but students can opt to take it for Cr/NC

One lecture and two hours of laboratory in computer laboratory.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of a three-unit statistics lecture course (BIOL 215 , CIV E 160 , ECON 201 , LING 270  , POL S 201 , SOC 201 , STAT 119  or STAT 250  with a C (2.0) or higher.

Statistical and graphic analysis and interpretation of psychological data using computer technology. Activities involve statistical, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Not open to students with credit in PSY 280 .
