Prerequisite(s): A E 301  or A E 340  or equivalent fluid mechanics course; A E 260  or equivalent course in programming; A E 280  or equivalent course in differential equations and linear algebra. Classified graduate standing. Undergraduate with consent of instructor.

Optimization techniques for solving inverse aerodynamic design problems, inverse panel method, adjoint-based optimization, Bayesian inference and machine learning techniques.
