University Research Council
The University Research Council of San Diego State University is the faculty policy-making body responsible for promoting, encouraging, and publicizing the research, scholarship, and creative activities of the faculty consistent with the educational mission of the university. The University Research Council contributes to the University Senate on behalf of research and innovation-related concerns and policies. The council meets monthly during the academic year.The University Research Council membership is composed of at least 16 faculty representing the various academic colleges, the University Library, and SDSU Imperial Valley, and is chaired by the Vice President for Research and Innovation.
